    The story

    The long way round to doing both.

    Ian has always liked computers. Building them, breaking them, working out what held up and what didn’t.

    That turned into a career which started exactly where NTC’s clients are now: five years in small business IT support, being the person you ring when something stops working.

    Then eight years at Amazon, across technical operations and support, project and programme management, product, and solution design. Delivering complex IT and technology programmes at scale worth millions. Most recently a spatial intelligence AI startup, where AI had to do a job rather than demo one.

    Advice and delivery can often end up being between two suppliers, and neither ends up accountable for the result. NTC does both.
